Tim Finley, EHS Risk Analysis Director; The Boeing Co.
Tom Finley is the Director of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Risk Analysis at the Boeing Co. He joined Boeing in 2008 to lead the EHS Assessments for the organization. For six months of his current position, Mr. Finley was on temporary assignment as EHS Director for Boeing Australia.
Prior to joining Boeing, he worked for 15 years at Alcatel-Lucent, which spun off from AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1996. During his tenure with Alcatel-Lucent, he was manager of EHS in the company's Services Business Unit. Some of his major projects included: coordination of divestiture EHS-related activities, achieving OSHA Voluntary Protection Program certification at company and at Bell Laboratories’ world headquarters, EHS coordination of the overall company response to the World Trade Center disaster, and managing the Business Continuity program for the company's Services business unit.
He previously worked as an industrial hygienist at IBM Research in Yorktown Heights, NY.
Mr. Finley has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Registered Environmental Health Specialist.
